The description: 'Freshness, Fruit and Richness, the promise of Lavantureux Petit Chablis''.
The Petit Chablis from Roland Lavantureux is like a Bourgogne blanc from Antoine Jobard or Jean-Marc Roulot—a delicious, meticulously crafted wine that offers a taste of the magic found in the domaine’s more exclusive wines, with all the refreshing minerality and stoniness that is the hallmark of cool-climate Chardonnay grown on limestone. A sketch by da Vinci isn’t the Mona Lisa, but it still comes from the master’s hand.
The opinion: complex and beautiful.

Komplexa aromer av torkad frukt, vanilj, balsamico och lakrits. Välbalanserat mellan frukt och syra, fin tanninstruktur och en ihållande och fruktig avslutning. — a year ago
Is a very light but bold. Hint of very very sweet taste. Has a lovely bouquet. Over all very good. it has a crisp around the edge with a dry aftertaste. Although we are in Norway, we can see Tuscany drinking this. This wine comes from a family fifth generation related to Mona Lisa — 2 years ago
Wine from the place where Da Vinci's Mona Lisa was born and where probably the name Chianti came about for the first time in 1404. What a treat! — 5 years ago
Feel like I just had the Mona Lisa in a bottle. Cigar, leather, lead pencil, tobacco with plums and cassis underneath. On the palate the most supple tannins that delightfully dance in your mouth and a finish that is as long as my drive on hole 4 from the morning, long and strong. — 7 years ago

Colour nose and taste were all exactly what we expect from a top quality Burgundian Pinot. Really enjoyed with duck and lamb. At MONA. 31/10/16 — 10 years ago
