Cuvée Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne Blend 1995

Bottle we had a while ago. Definitely a first for me trying champagne with this much shelf time. Green apple, citrus, almost cider like taste. Almost no effervescence at all. Was definitely an experience! — 12 days ago

Don’t drink a ton of spirits, but I do sample them when the occasion arises. This was pretty good, very balanced and of course smoothish.

Impérial Brut Réserve Champagne Blend

This is a delightful and classic champagne. It has a lot of the yeasty character to complement it’s fruit and a lovely, fine mousse. But personally, what always moves me about this wine is remembering that it was the one my late brother always used to drink with his partner. Every time I have it, it lets me feel like I am celebrating with him again. — 5 months ago

Grand Vintage Brut Champagne Blend 2006

A nice way to toast my daughter’s 33rd Birthday! Blend of Chardonnay (42%), Pinot Noir (39%) and Meunier (18%). Straw gold color. Ripe apple hits both the nose and palate immediately with additional notes of pie and bread dough, lemon, apricot, white flowers and fresh herbs. Distinct chalky/nutty note on the finish. Rich and full bodied. Acidity was a bit lighter than expected. Quite dry but extremely fruit forward. A bit lacking in effervescence and mousse but still quite enjoyable. Thank you for sharing and Happy Birthday, Kase! — 2 months ago

Nectar Impérial Champagne Blend

Demi-sec isn’t my go-to (will always prefer brut nature), but this is nice for a change. Old school style. Not so sweet, just some “nectar” on the finish. A very soft Champagne that is probably more crowd-pleasing than something sharp and focused. — a month ago
