Cuvée Miss Armande Monthelie Pinot Noir 2017

2023/7. Still pretty country but there seemed to be notably more refinement and flesh than the 2015 Meix Garnier, despite the latter being the “better” vintage. Juicy, yogurts berries and a moreish good time — a year ago

Surprisingly pleasant and fun. Had it twice and drank it down both times. Cooled it a bit first. — 2 years ago

Domaine Coche-Dury (J.F. Coche Dury)

Meursault Chardonnay 2016

Typical 2016, a bit flowery, exotic, wood not yet integrated. Medium body, miss The father’s toasting/smokeyness. Very good effort. — 4 years ago

Domaine Coche-Dury (J.F. Coche Dury)

Les Rougeots Meursault Chardonnay

Pear, buttery, lightly toasted, high mineral content, medium body. Wines are more delicate under the son but I miss a bit of the smoke of the father. Great effort in a very frost affected year. — 4 years ago
