Great wine. Tried as a sample at H‑E‑B and loved it. Not too sweet. Has a Smokey semisweet flavor. Also reasonable price - around $12.00 — 6 months ago
This was terrific. 16 years in. Softening. Still holding onto those leathery notes. Good stuff. — 3 years ago
Great ca zin. Blackberries galore, red apples, some earth and forest. Great acidity but still a rich zin. This is such an underrated winery. — a month ago
Have you baked fruit I’ve only slightly accompanied, bacon, spices, more like a little bit of juicy and fatty tannins that complement more than blend. Gives a good structure, so the whole thing doesn’t end up too jammy. Woods beyond oak like cedar, cigarbox, Cedar, Pinion-wood, things like that. A little bit of forest floor mushroom. — 6 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe cherry and blueberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Good now will age a bit! — 4 days ago
