You have to be patient. Out of the gate everyone loved the Maybach which is just so delicious right out of the chute. Give it an hour (probably more) and this really starts to shine. Two hours into dinner this was amazing and just outshined the Maybach. To be clear I love both. Start with Maybach finish with this and just be incredibly happy. Happy anniversary. — 3 years ago
This has certainly evolved to a better place since our last tasting. The exotic fruit profile is amplified on the nose and mid palate. Roasted pineapple, nectarines and lychee present superbly. The weight on the mid palate is what commands your attention. Deftly balanced with enough weight to make you sit upright. Impressive for the duckets. — 2 months ago
Solid 9.5. Did not match up to the Maybach/Abreu/SQN last night but still excellent. Much lighter on the palate even less than than an Aubert Pinot, great aromatics, classic Cab flavors but not the rich, dark, deep flavors of last night. — 3 years ago
Jeb & Parker 💯,
I bought a case for flipping purposes, but after discussions with @Severn Goodwin yesterday I became intrigued🤔. Its actually not as big a fruit bomb as anticipated,. Has some structural appeal & depth to it. But I still don’t know how you can tell the difference between Bevan, Myriad & Maybach and probably Silver Oak but it’s been awhile. — 3 years ago
