This slipped down so well.
Roasted lemons and almonds on the nose. Palate is lithe and roundish. Not a huge amount of complexity, but enjoyable nonetheless. Lacking acidity, implying this these should be consumed now. — 10 days ago

Having a problem with the fruit forward wines nowadays, too sweet.

I bought a case for flipping purposes, but after discussions with @Severn Goodwin yesterday I became intrigued🤔. Its actually not as big a fruit bomb as anticipated,. Has some structural appeal & depth to it. But I still don’t know how you can tell the difference between Bevan, Myriad & Maybach and probably Silver Oak but it’s been awhile. — 4 years ago

Deep purple, with a captivating nose of chalky blackberries, plum sauce, and Asian five spice. It just keeps drawing you in. Plenty of good fruit on the palate, not overly dry. Amazing structure with velvety tannins. The amazing finish on this wine lingers for at least a minute. To my taste, this is Cabernet at its finest and probably the best wine I’ve had. I would like to compare it to the Maybach Amoneous as it previously held my favorite all time wine position. I’m saddened that with Realm purchasing Houyi, Modus Operandi will probably not be able to make this fantastic expression of Houyi vineyard. I need to stock up!!! — 4 months ago

Solid 9.5. Did not match up to the Maybach/Abreu/SQN last night but still excellent. Much lighter on the palate even less than than an Aubert Pinot, great aromatics, classic Cab flavors but not the rich, dark, deep flavors of last night. — 4 years ago
