I love my classic wines, by this wine I felt in love with wine especially red wine. This is in my opinion one of the wines that made the wine world beautiful and romantic. And it’s still just very good stuff, give it a decade (or two) and find a great evening like this. Love it — 10 months ago
Our friend described this as forest floor. Did have wet forest smells along with mushrooms, dry blackberry and raspberry with a slight musty funk. Felt like this bottle was just a touch sweeter (not dessert wine sweet just that the dark fruit had fermented a bit more). Good wine. — 2 years ago
Golden. Clove, vanilla, mellow acidity. The oak is pleasant and not overwhelming. Delicious. — 5 months ago
Blew me away. Nose is so elegant and pretty with lavender and dried red fruit. Just perfectly balanced palate with enough meatiness to know you’re drinking Mourvèdre but not enough to turn off the non-wine-geeks. So expansive on the palate in terms of the breadth of flavor and complexity, but at this stage of evolution it’s incredibly approachable and easy drinking. Smiles. — 3 years ago
Lively and just the right amount of pepper. Paired quite nicely with the lamb chops. Less heavy and more ethereal. — 7 months ago
Pleasantly funky! Blend of Syrah (50%) with the balance split between Garnacha and Carinena (Samso). Aromas of bright brambly red berry fruit, cigar leaf and iodine. Just a touch of Brett. Red berry fruit and beef jerky with a touch of black coffee and dark chocolate on the pallet. A slightly spicy finish. Lacking a bit on the mid-pallet a bit but there is such a great balance of acidity, tannins and alcohol that it can be overlooked. A nice little find recommended by Chris at the Vino Volo in DFW! — 2 years ago

Strawberries and raspberries on the nose, surprisingly soft structure (although still a "big" wine) with sweetness, inky, powdery, ripe tannins. Earth tones emerge at the back of the palate. Already in the drinking window but no rush to consume these. 95+. Awesome wine! — a month ago
