2016 vintage. Last tasted 11.06.24 (9.2). This has come together a bit more since then. One thing I can tell you is you got to be free. Showy dark cherry and oak marriage with spices aplenty. Medium body alongside respectable mojo filter tannins. Fun and built for speed. 08.14.25. — 8 months ago
Lively and just the right amount of pepper. Paired quite nicely with the lamb chops. Less heavy and more ethereal. — 2 years ago
v18. Soft, smoked meat nose. Fresh, bright, layers of cherry and black cherry fruits. Clean, smooth, pleasingly bitter finish. Enjoyable. — 4 years ago
Fresh and vibrant with red fruit aromas alongside spicy, earthy undertones and hints of mineral. Lively medium-bodied yet juicy, refined and silky tannins, good acidity, and a refreshing, mineral finish. — 2 months ago
Thanksgiving week so time to open this PDX baby up, made in Portland but grapes grown in Columbia Valley (they are an urban winery, fun place to visit). Purple, slightly cloudy, medium pigment extraction. Blackberries, blueberries and black currants in the nose. Soft, moderate alcohol, fruit with length and mild seed tannins in the finish and aftertaste. Graphite as well. I love this stuff in the autumn; get some now. Nothing fancy, just tasty, rustic and evocative — 5 months ago
Salanques: Poured into a decanter several hours prior and returned to the bottle just before dinner. The 2007 “Salanques” pours, a deep garnet color with a near opaque, core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and slightly desiccated red and dark fruits, red cherries, blackberries, dried red flowers, well-oiled leather, rocky minerals, light baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin (that is mostly integrated) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Showing remarkable elegance; this is a delicious, gorgeous Priorat that is currently firing on all cylinders. A lovely pairing with paella a variety of traditional Spanish tapas. Drink now and over the next 10 years. — 2 years ago

Lovely well rounded little known priorat. At 21 years of age remarkably youthful. — 9 months ago
A favorite for decades, I just love this wine. Perfumey and fragrant, with deep floral notes, turned earth, sappy dark berries, incense, spice. On the palate it’s less unctuous than the nose suggests, and more linear. A tad reserved initially, but then the deep concentration and length kick in. Very savory flavors. A vibrancy echoes on the finish. One of the best renditions I can remember. — 10 months ago

Just lovely. Probably wouldn’t hold a ton longer but what an elegant bottle — 24 days ago
