This wine was much better than the less dry version from the same vineyard. I got citrus notes with fruit, mainly apples. I am glad to have tried this wine in class as now I know to look for a much more dry white. It had a nice sensation in the mouth, and after the second sip I was really enjoying it. Outstanding AlsatianPinot Gris, right at peak, great fruit and acidity, long, lingering finish, just great!! A local west coast mail order outfit periodically offers this wine at around $20, I’ve purchased 2014 (all gone) and last time 2018 (this wine, one more of 6 bottles left)!!
