LOVE. Loire might be my favourite French region.
Some green pepper on the nose. Dangerously drinkable. Food friendly. Went well with spiced ground beef and rice, but this red would be a good companion for red or white meat, Indian dishes, or on its own. — 6 years ago
Light salmon color. Tart on the palate with a mineral backbone. A satisfying acid finish. Clean and crisp, a classic French style rose’. — 7 years ago

These guys make insanely good biodynamic Loire wines. I rarely buy a wine twice but I buy their underpriced still Chenin whenever I can find it.
This is my first taste of the Pet Nat, a 70/30 rosy blend of Cab Franc and Chenin Blanc. It’s the Loire version of Champagne’s Blanc de Noir. It’s exactly what I want.
You can smell the dark berries from the Cab Franc and taste the spiced baked orchard fruit of the Chenin. It’s structured and doesn’t taste like Pet Nat, but like big boy Champagne.
Like the Chenin, Free Mousse is underpriced ~ $28 — 6 years ago

Deep tart cherry that stays bright in acidity while staying round in mouthfeel. Very nice. From La Meme Chose. — 8 months ago
Pear, yellow apple, minerals, hay. Lots of ripe pear and apple on the palate with some bread crust and steely minerality. A touch of bitterness and alcohol heat as well. Medium acidity.
Good balance and nice, ripe fruit flavors. — 4 years ago
The clay & limestone soils of Languedoc-Roussilon develop this soft and rich blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, 8% Mourvèdre, 2% Carignan. The Château Puech-Haut - Tête de Bélier red offers lots of black fruit, minerality with herbs on the finish. A nice surprise! — 6 years ago
A little VA leading to bright fruit. Light and drinkable. Great with a bit of a chill. — 6 years ago

Dark gold. Crème brûlée, toffee, toasted brioche, great acidity. Amazing length. Spectacular and this is over 70 years old. — a month ago
