A lot darker than the younger vintages. Bright aromas with green apple, blossom, blood orange and sour cherries. Pure joy, this falls close to my recollection of the fantastic aromas of both the red and white Serragghia. I have’nt had problems with mousiness in Frank’s wines before, but it is there on the second day. Last bottle should be drunk quicker. — 11 days ago

White wine and pasta carbonara? 🥂 We are pairing this amazing Italian dish with some great Italian wine. A bottle from Vie di Romans, Flor di Uis 2017. It is a blend of 57% Malvasia, 35% Riesling, and 8% Tocai.
It is a medium-plus to full bodied dry white wine. The nose delivers aromas of pears, some lyches, honey, minerality, and tons of floral notes. The palate shows some herbaceous and mineral flavors. You can taste lemon tea, honey, and yellow apples and pears. It is a bottle with a rich finish! Really liked it!
