2012 - Pinot Noir
Frutta scura, note terrose, caramello e viola per un sorso di struttura ed equilibrio, a tratti monocorde nel suo sviluppo che si riscatta con un finale decisamente minerale — 9 years ago
Nose has few day old lemon peel, wet river rocks, lightly oxidized apple, lanolin and beeswax.
Palate has dehydrated pear & apple slices, wet sandstone, neutral oak, somewhat dry on the finish makes for a unique St. Aubin experience.
I don't think this is past enjoyment, but might be on the down side of middle age. So much minerality on the palate, almost a fruitless wine. I'll be interested to see this bottle in a couple more years, luckily still a few bottles in the cellar. — 4 years ago
Fresh lemon peel, sweet yellow apple, cold-wet granite, medium short finish.
This bottle was opened by my wife, four days ago, and she was nice enough to save me a little to try after I got home from a recent business trip. I really need to try this fresh, she noted it was more expressive on day's one and two. — 4 years ago

Wonderful. But right temperature is essential. Not too cold. — 3 years ago
