Fluid cherry-ruby dress. Nose: red fruits, spices, vegetable. Smooth mouth, light, flexible body. Notes of Pinot Noir and Gamay well restored, assembled in harmony in an accessible and complex bouquet with many shades: cherry, cloves, pepper, strawberry, blackberry, rose, violets. Pretty vegetable notes, almost menthol, dry herbs, hay. Tertiary notes slightly smoked/vanilla, suggesting a possibility of Burgundian evolution. Very nice work at a correct price.

Robe cerise-rubis fluide. Nez fruits rouges, épices, végétal. Bouche lisse, corps léger, souple. Notes de Pinot Noir et Gamay bien restituées, assemblées avec harmonie au sein d’un bouquet accessibles et complexe aux nombreuses nuances: cerise, clou de girofle, poivre, fraise, mûre, rose, violettes. De jolies notes végétales, presque mentholées, herbes sèches, foin. Des notes tertiaires légèrement fumées/vanillées, laissant entrevoir une possibilité d’évolution à la bourguignonne. I bought this for 40 dollars in Paris in 2004. It has survived 2 cross country moves since then. I was worried it would be dead or over the hill. The cork was crumbly. But the wine was incredibly wonderful. I have been meaning to drink this for 10 years but kept delaying. Still lots of primary fruits along with the forest and other 2ndary flavors. This is why Burgundy can be so entoxicating to people. It so often disappoints, but not this time. Too bad wines like this are now so far beyond my means or desire to pay. — 6 months ago

Bright light purple dress. Pure explosive nose on fruits (red and black) and flowers, typical of carbonic maceration. In mouth the first is light, airy, confirming the nose; carried by a beautiful necessary freshness balancing the little terroir extraction. A modern, "natural" wine, on the fruits at first fond that does not prevent a certain complexity from expressing itself on a peppery and mineral finish. A very beautiful juice to drink from the aperitif, which blindly could pass for a rosé.

Robe légère violine éclatante. Nez pure explosifs sur les fruits (rouge et noirs) et fleurs, typique des vins en macération carbonique. En bouche l’abord est léger, aérien, confirmant le nez; porté par une belle fraîcheur nécessaire équilibrant le peu de terroir extrait. Un vin moderne, “nature”, sur les fruits á l’abord friand n’empêchant pas une certaine complexité de s’exprimer sur une finale poivrée et minérale. Un très beau jus à boire des l’apéro, qui à l’aveugle c’est pourrait passer pour un rosé. — 4 years ago

Light garnet dress, nice shine. Superb fine nose: strawberry, raspberry, pepper, sweet spices, aerial and floral shades with character. Nose that pinote. Structured and light mouth, medium + acidity, absolutely ready to drink. Semi-light body, paradoxical with chew, and delicate tannins. Endelived, charming, discreetly long finish between raspberry, pepper, spices and blood orange (?) A fine price/pleasure ratio to have in the cellar, in the light-bodied category.

Robe grenat légère, bel éclat. Nez superbe, fraise, framboise, poivre, épices douces, nuances aériennes et florales avec du caractère. Nez qui pinote. Bouche structurée et légère, acidité moyen +, absolument prêt à boire. Corps demi-léger, paradoxal avec de la matière, et des tanins délicats. Finale friande, charmeuse, discrètement longue entre framboise, poivre, épices et orange sanguine (?) Un fin rapport prix/plaisir à avoir en cave, dans la catégorie light-bodied. — 3 years ago
