Raisin tight enough; no character yet.
20 minutes later: Ooh light cherry cola! Had it with my weirdly chocolate tasting homemade soba. I guess seaweed, tsuru no moto, tamari, egg, sesame oil caramelize in the mouth and make this wine like a trip to 7-Eleven in 1986. Me likie. — 22 days ago

Gold Cap (Bessards-Meal blend), purchased at Marche-aux-Vins in Ampuis in January, 2009, this shows lovely aromatics of iron, mineral, some floral as well, very tight, structured palate with mostly black fruit flavors, clean, balanced, very long finish, ideally needs more cellaring, but I think I only bought 1 so that’s not happening, great Syrah from Hermitage!! — 16 days ago
