Medium lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple and lemon citrus, smooth with a crisp texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with citrus fruit, slight oak notes and savory mineral character. — 4 years ago

Notes of strawberry and blood orange. Light bodied, fizzy. Vibrant and berry-forward flavour. — 2 months ago
Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, herb spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with dried herb notes, vanilla and toasty oak. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fresh fruit, spice, floral and earthy tones. Good now! — 4 months ago
See several previous Delectable notes for this wine. They still apply. Trademark raspberry notes with an earthy twist. Quite a sweet palate. Have a bottle left which I’ll probably have in the next year or two. From McLaren Vale which I believe is the best district for Grenache in Australia. — 2 years ago
An earthy nose masks the floral arrangement one expects. There are some herbal elements there, but more along savory lines. The palate shows apples, peaches and a shovel of the earth of Rías Baixas. Nice acidity and a pleasantly earthy finish cap a wonderfully different style for the region. — 5 years ago
Good wine to drink without food! — 6 years ago

Concentrated and brooding. Mostly Syrah with Cabernet and Grenache. Black peppercorns. Wild, brambly fruit. Juicy. Assertive and better with ample air. Biodynamically farmed. Great with Beef Bourguignon. — 4 years ago
One of our favorite reds. Not too sweet or tanic but a nice blend of fruit, wood, and soil. Laura nicely with red meat or cheese. — 5 years ago

Dense Ruby with a Crimson rim. Aromas of red and black berries, chocolate, and smoked meat. Full bodied and muscular. From a single vineyard in McLaren Vale which was planted 124 years ago. Silky tannins. A great red on a cold night in Winter. Love the old fashioned label which probably hasn’t changed in 100 years showing the two Kay Brothers. Hope to have the patience to drink the last bottle in say 2028 to 2030. — 2 days ago
