Les Cris Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Nervous acidity and strong minerality, but elegantly refined. A rock on the label makes sense! (Les cris means the vines are planted in pebbly limestone) Solid versatile white. — 4 months ago

Triptyque Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2015

KD
9.2

Medium deep gold colour with fragrant nose of gooseberry, ripe peach, pear, lime, honey suckle with some smokey butter, vanilla and honey. Dry medium full body with crisp acidity and, even though it's a white wine, some discrete tannins. In the mouth, more notes of peach, Asian pear, key lime pie with some oaky smoke, and light butter as well as a honey nut long finish. Very nice. Pouilly-fumé is such a different but interesting expression of sauvignon blanc!
