Maybe not as amazing as when it was just bottled (which was the last time I had it), but still so fresh, pure, and gulpable. Gamay is so transparent. It really channels the minerality of the terroir it’s grown in. Goes well with my Popeyes spicy chicken (crazy night).

Stunningly fresh. Stunning purity. Stunning weightless and silky texture. Stunning acidity. Wow. The purity of fresh red fruit and discrete minerality. This sets a high bar early in 2017 for bargain red of the year. (The folks at Garagiste from whom I bought this said it's a 2015, but there's no indication of a year anywhere on the bottle.).

Floral and fresh cherry on the nose. Earthy, satisfying palate with a refreshing bite of acidity on the finish. Delicious.
