Aldi advent beers. Ruby rose grapefruit juice color and hazy. Spittle white with bubbles to match. Firewood dropped by tentacles lacing. Ghost squid. Pronounced grapefruit nose is halved, sprinkled with sugar and topped with a maraschino cherry like grandma made for breakfast. Hedge apple blossom, magnolia too. Lemon bread. Pineapple essence. Tart and tasty palate features white and ruby grapefruit that steps off a ledge and plunges to pith and pear, orange peel and zested ginger. Tastes very natural.

Viewed my first rocket launch tonight, a SpaceX Falcon 9 out of Vandenberg AFB. Photo is just after booster separation. Booster then returned and landed. This is the only wine I Had with a space tie, at least in name. A former second label for Mark Adams of Ledge and long time Saxum assistant. I presume this is a GSM. Big fruit Paso profile and 15.5% ABV. Tasty and a good buy at $15. — 8 years ago
Last bottle at Hospice du Rhône 2018. Depeche Max pulled this out of his hat late in the evening while Yves Gangloff and Mark Adams (Saxum/Ledge) were jammin’ on a Dead song at the closing BBQ. . Fitting end to a great weekend. Still a stunning wine, — 8 years ago

As someone who is often quick to dismiss Sauvignon Blanc, I’m very happy to report that Bow & Arrow is making one of the most memorable bottlings I’ve tasted anywhere. Showing it’s attributes the way a good showdog might, knowing what she has.
And that’d be lychee extract, sweet tangerine, coconut, pineapple, sweet sake, vanilla, dulce de ledge, and butterfinger. Extraordinarily deep and ripe and all in wonderful restraint. — 7 years ago

100% Mourvèdre from Paso. Delicious and an incredible value. Rich, deep and voluptuous-you can dive right into the glass with this one. Slate and cherry undertones on the nose. Long finish out the back side. Love this wine. — 8 years ago
Great grape. 2nd glass much better than the first. Think the wine needed a moment. Huge fan! — 9 years ago
More advanced than the last bottle, initially I thought too advanced… but credit to the Somm at The Modern for talking me off the metaphorical ledge. Developed nicely in glass, more honey than creaminess. Wouldn’t give bottles any more time. — 2 years ago
Awesome and soooooo good — 5 years ago
The nose of a cooling blackberry pie on a windows ledge.
This has heft, and you can tell the love that went into this. All the dark berries, yet in the brighter side - elegant, I wish I had bought a case. So, so good. Tangy lip smacking acidity with tannin overtures. — 6 years ago
This 2012 is perfect right now — mellow but still velvety with lots of dark fruit. Plums. — 8 years ago
