Medium Ruby color, purple hues, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral, herb and complex spice. On the palate flavors of tart cherry, plum and strawberry with pepper, tea, herbs, licorice and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, long finish, ending with spice, ripe fruit and warm floral tones. Very Nice! — 17 days ago
A very dark Ruby colour. Rich flavours on the full bodied palate. Jancis said a Bordeaux trying to be Californian - a fair comment IMO but delicious nevertheless. Not particularly Saint Emillion as the fruit is way riper than usual. Black plum, mulberry and a hint of sweet pipe tobacco. Even at 18 years of age I may have drunk this a little early. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The next night still rich and powerful. — 6 days ago
The 2014 Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru is a vintage I have not tasted for some time. Quite rustic on the nose, it offers red fruit, juniper berries, leather and forest floor scents that take time to cohere. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, austere like so many of the Côte de Nuits reds, and a slightly dry finish. (Neal Martin, Vinous, June 2024)

1995 vintage. Good fill. Excellent cork with minimal saturation. Decanted and throwing a tad extra sediment…a nice mix of chunky and powdery sed. Tasted after 30 minutes and 2 hours open and decanted. Light-medium body. Dark cherry and earth in the nose. These transferred over and slapped on a fudge chocolate note on the finish. In a good place now and not improving. Would seem to hold steady in this standing for another 3-4 years. 6.6.24. — 16 days ago
Crafted by Joseph J. Wagner, 4th generation winemaker, with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tea and sweet spice notes. On the palate flavors of jammy blackberry and cherry with pronounced sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — 17 days ago
Had a fine dining restaurant bartender recommend this to me about 10 years ago. Have tried and enjoyed multiple Pinots since then. But then I have the Meiomi again and wonder why I bother with anything else. Dark cherry, blackberry, mocha, cinnamon, allspice and a hint of oak . . . very smooth. Love it with broiled salmon and shellfish. — a day ago

The 2014 Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru, made by Thierry Brouin, has a typically leafy bouquet. There is something autumnal about the aromatics, and some red fruits are extant but certainly moving into their secondary phase. The palate is medium-bodied with an austere, slightly meaty opening. This is not a concentrated Lambrays by any means. It's a little dry and mealy in the mouth, though it has charm. (Neal Martin, Vinous, June 2024)
