Very nice extremely drinkable red. Caught my eye as last time we had a wine from Les Poyeux was a Clos Rougeard at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. This was at Balthazar. Definitely on the more glou glou side of things - but quite enjoyable. And a nice pairing with a frisée lardon, halibut, and a steak au poivre. — 6 months ago

Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 18 months in French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red fruits, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry with notes of cacao and pepper spice. Firm dusty tannins, medium savory finish, ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral notes. — 2 months ago
Pale straw color.
Aromas of lemon, toast.
Dry. Flavors of lemon, mineral, hint of herbal.
