This was the Cuvée 740 Degorgement Tardif. Stunning wine. Precise, complex, great texture…could be runner up to the Prévost La Closerie Beguines. — a year ago

The bottle I had 1 1/2 years ago was better. The nose has classic scents of wet sea shell and other limestoney minerals, but I detect a slight oxidative note already creeping in. There good weight, fruit, and minerality in the mouth. But the acids are lowish. And the color is a deeper gold than before. I’d drink and enjoy these before 2024 ends. This is the negociant project of Stephane Brocard.
UPDATE: On night 3, it seems more tightly knit and youthful. Weird! A Benjamin Button act. Upping score from 8.9 to 9.1. — 5 months ago

Love LC19. It’s perfect today flaunting deep, powerful layers of ripe orchard fruit with smoky minerals, toasted hazelnuts and exotic spices. The palate is structured and concentrated with a satiny texture and vibrant energy that give way to a long saline and mineral laced finale. Pinot Meunier from the master, it just can’t be matched and this is the best release since LC13 IMO. I’ve heard LC19 imports to the west coast specifically are often mousy, but luckily I’ve never experienced that here on the east coast. — a month ago
