Great white burgundy, typical of a young vintage and has great potential. Grass and lemon peel, lightly Oaked, buttery, with great acidity and a nice long finish. — 4 years ago

Hard to beat for the price,
K&L notes,
The pristine condition of this stunningly copper-colored brandy is inspiring - it's gorgeous. In the nose there are delicate fragrances of spice, sesame seed, light oak, and baked pears; seven more minutes in the glass bring out pineapple, light toffee, milk, and brown sugar. The palate entry is elegant, composed, and moderately sweet in more of an oaky than a fruity way; by the midpalate stage, there's flavor evidence of ripe pear, white grapes, cake frosting, Oloroso sherry, orange peel, and dark honey. End up sugary sweet, satiny textured, and long in the throat. 4 Stars - Highly Recommended - Spirit Journal - F. Paul Pacult 40% ABV

Unknown % of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada, Chardonnay. 14 months on lees.
Super fun, loud & proud packaging which radiates positivity and happiness.
Young, energetic. Fruity, grass and mineral. Slight reductive note blows off, and easily masked with mixer or food. Excellent long lasting steady stream of bubbles.

A very special treat as the first wine of a Cheval Blanc vertical cultivated by @Martin G Rivard @David L @Shawn R for their visit to SD this week and an incredibly generous hosting gift from them to me. This was astonishingly intact and not falling off much at all. The finish was initially astringent with a slight bleachy quality that blew off quickly. Still an ample amount of red fruit with a clear taste profile of blood, iron and mushroom. Fun as F*%* — 7 years ago
Dynamite- toasty, tropical nose but laser focused palate- unreality and acidity carry the palate. — 3 years ago
Based on 2017 (60%) and I assume the rest is reserve wines; disg 03/20, 5 g/L dosage. Mousse is very dense at first. On the nose: green apple, brioche, lime, soft vanilla, verbena. The effervescence dissipates quickly, but obscures the nose a bit, as opposed to lifting it. On the palate: excellent acidity, if a bit prickly, wet stone, lemon oil, very mineral, and not showing so much fruit on the palate. White pepper and wet stone on the spicy finish. Seems very tightly wound right now...wait a long while on next bottle. — 4 years ago
2017 vintage. Mediocre by itself. Pairs well with baked salmon. Much better than Kim Crawford. Both L and F agree. Get more. — 4 years ago
B e a u t i f u l . Even though it's bigger, Vaillons is always one of the best 1er crus. Also, how F'ing cool is old(ish) white wine? It's so interesting how these wines go from being timid and shy young, to being the most attractive, seductive bottle in the room a decade later. #burgundy #premiercru #chablis #dauvissat — 7 years ago

After Mr. L. F. scarred the shit out of me on the 17‘ Enderle & Moll‘s. I took a look at the Basis wine. And guess what it’s pretty good! Rosé like color. Orange zest on the nose. Tons of acid so some folks might take a step back. Then morello cherries and back palate herbs. Touch band aid. Could run for another 3-5 years. Not one of their top efforts but not bad either. Needs tons of air. — 5 months ago
