Médium lemon yellow . Quite concentrated nose with lemon rind , white flowers , orange zest , toasty , roasted almond hints . On the palate this is quite concentrated and structured , orange rind , brioche , roasted almonds , with a oyster shell , chalky finish . Good length , high slightly astringent acidity . 2004 base with wines going back to 1990. This bottle was even better than the last one I had about 1.5 years ago. Great richness and intensity with a long lingering finish. I have no doubt it will age but not sure how more enjoyable it can become. — 3 months ago
