Loved this, good tannins, leathery volcanic action but also nice red fruits with a slight funk

Ruby coloration. Translucent. In the nose, cherry, cherry cola, red berry, on the palate, a close mirror to the nose. Medium-Long finish. — 5 months ago
Bright lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of pear, apples and peaches with lime citrus zest and notes of chalky salinity. Well balanced with pleasant lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice! — 7 months ago

Lovely with slow roasted salmon. — 4 months ago
Garnet centre with wide terracotta rim , slightly hazy with very fine sediment. Quite a lot of spice and sun kissed dried plum and blackberry fruit , tobacco and sous bois, slight balsamic notes . On the palate it fills out well with round dried dark fruits , spiced plum, good acidity , slightly rusty tannin and decent length . Still showing well and continued to performed well over 3-4 hours, but drink now and over the next 5 years. — 5 months ago

We both really enjoyed this albarino. Less stone fruit than normal and almost an oaky undertone. Went well with chicken salads.
Would buy again! — 2 months ago
I’ve been told by locals that Montsant is the region that makes Priorat style wines but at a better value (and they don’t mean that euphemistally, they do mean better value). On the map, it almost envelops Priorat. So far, so true. Raspberries and stone fruit predominate. Maybe a touch hot. Didn’t blow my mind, but it’s definitely a competently made wine from good grapes. I will definitely be back for this one. — 6 months ago
