Washington Riesling at it again! Petrol and honeycomb — 4 months ago
Pale straw to clear in color. On the nose a perfume of honey, apricot, nectarine, a burst of slate and touch of petrol. On the palate is a nice bit of acid balanced with a touch of residual sugar. The wine glides through the middle and finishes with green apples, melon and honeysuckle. Quite a lovely wine that isn't too loud, where the low mid and highs are nuanced for your tasting pleasure. — 2 years ago
Entry-level wine from this renowned Rheingau estate. Riesling from their 20 hectares of vineyards overlooking the Rhine, first planted in 817 supposedly on the orders of Charlemagne, and replanted with Riesling since 1720. Aged for four months on the lees. Intense nose, with tropical fruit (ripe pineapple, passion fruit ) and stone fruit aromas. Round, quite ripe, subtle tropical flavors. Good length. — 9 months ago
Tasted blind. Opulent bouquet full of tropical fruits, dried pineapple and coconut. Off-dry palate, long aftertaste with flavours of lime, pineapple and bergamot. Overall it's well made, well balanced, very friendly, but not fascinating. My first wine of this producer. — 3 years ago

Pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed this. Great QPR with tropical fruit and balanced acidity. Want to try more in their range now... — a month ago
