Top Notes For
This is the Trocken, not the Feinherb. Loads of stony minerality on the nose, to go with pristine apple fruit. Full and intense, nice acids. Quite dry but deep fruit.

Feb 11th, 2023Entry-level wine from this renowned Rheingau estate. Riesling from their 20 hectares of vineyards overlooking the Rhine, first planted in 817 supposedly on the orders of Charlemagne, and replanted with Riesling since 1720. Aged for four months on the lees. Intense nose, with tropical fruit (ripe pineapple, passion fruit ) and stone fruit aromas. Round, quite ripe, subtle tropical flavors. Good length.
