Tio Pepe 'En Rama' Jerez de la Frontera Palomino Fino

Fresh as milk, salty, briny, firing on all cylinders. Outstanding. We skipped the ubiquitous GB when in Jerez, will make sure to stop by next trip. — 11 days ago

Wellington 20 Years VOS Palo Cortado Sanlúcar de Barrameda Palomino Fino

Aged 20 years but the solera must be much more than that. Very fresh style of Palo cortado. Has wonderful snap & acidity. — 10 days ago

Antonio Barbadillo

Aged 15 Years Obispo Gascon Palo Cortado Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Palomino Fino

Extraordinary wood/saline accord. The nose on this takes one back to the bodega, where we were privileged to taste this in September 2019. The stacks of slumbering casks, the air thick with humidity and yeast, the walls black with fungal growth. There really is nothing like it in the world of wine. Fabulous with cheese and nuts, also great with a roast. — 25 days ago

Not as aromatic as The manzanilla, but the caramel has moved from the nose to the palate. Stone cold refreshment. — 5 days ago
