Absolutely fantastic 20 year old-ish manzanilla pasada. Fabulous golden straw colour, rix and complex with tons of intense walnut and toffee aromas. You almost imagine it will be sweet but bone dry as ever, in the mouth. Was still drinking well a day after opening, too.

The scents of dried figs and raisins prelude a diverse pallet of currants, prunes, dried fruits, spices, and perhaps a hint of limestone and olives. Good balance between body and tannins with an overall moderate intensity. Was a fine pair to pizza. — 7 days ago
