Saint-Pierre Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and nutty flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with floral notes and herb spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and stony mineral spice. Nice!

L’'Ange Vin (Jasnières) Charme Chenin Blanc

really really really special. about as profound as natural wine can get. needed an hour to really get going but entirely singular. had all of the chenin tells—orchard fruit, waxy texture, structured acidity—but so much more. very pronounced herbaceous notes and overall far more savory than i could have ever anticipated. there is no one doing it like robinot. — 16 days ago

L'Opéra Des Vins Concerto Pineau d'Aunis 2021

I think there may be cab franc in this? Strawberries, roses, game, peppers and peppercorn, huge tannin, plums, more peppercorn, long lingering finish. Pretty great wine. I’m guessing better in a couple years. — 5 months ago

Fêtembulles L'Opéra Des Vins Chenin Blanc 2018

Best aged bottle of this I’ve had yet. Really in a great spot. Last few bottles of Robinot in general have been disappointing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. — 2 months ago

Drinks like a fairly full bodied vintage. Very nice. Enjoying with escargot, mussels and steak! — 4 months ago

Preface St. Joseph Syrah 2021

Very different St Joseph. Tons of brambly dark fruit. Nice acid and tension on the finish. But oddly lacking in tannin and structure. Savory and I appreciate the 13% abv but I think it’s missing a dimension given the price point. — 6 months ago

Well, it’s just the Preface after all.
