really really really special. about as profound as natural wine can get. needed an hour to really get going but entirely singular. had all of the chenin tells—orchard fruit, waxy texture, structured acidity—but so much more. very pronounced herbaceous notes and overall far more savory than i could have ever anticipated. there is no one doing it like robinot. — 5 months ago

This is much more backward and has a tannic edge to it, dark fruits, good length, I suspect that this will always show that tannic edge, big and richer than the Traboules, but I prefer the refined aromatics and balance of the Traboules tonight. — 4 months ago

Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and nutty flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with floral notes and herb spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and stony mineral spice. Nice!

I think there may be cab franc in this? Strawberries, roses, game, peppers and peppercorn, huge tannin, plums, more peppercorn, long lingering finish. Pretty great wine. I’m guessing better in a couple years. — 10 months ago
