L'Arbaléte Grand Cru Dézaley 2018

Very rounded, with a complex mix of floral fruit and minerality. To my mind much better than their “La Borne” Grand Cru Dézaley which seemed a bit hollow in comparison. — a month ago

Vivid purple. Spice- and smoke-accented red and dark berry preserve aromas are complemented by a suave floral nuance that builds as the wine opens up. Juicy, seamless and light on its feet; a minerally note adds spicy lift to sweet black raspberry, cherry and violet pastille flavors. Finishes supple and very long, with harmonious tannins adding gentle grip and shape to lingering dark fruit and spice notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, September 2019) — 3 months ago

Fêtembulles L'Opéra Des Vins Chenin Blanc 2018

Always one of my favorite sparklers. Really clean in this vintage and not as austere as the 2017. Green apple and lemon zest with a waxy finish. — 2 months ago

Longue Garde Bandol Mourvedre Blend

Same as one bandol we brought back from France (from the bandol wine museum). This is 09 and that was 11. Found this at Pemberton farms. It was excellent. A little more acidic and Tangier perhaps than other bandol, but still wonderfully gummy tannins that complement the lighter side nicely — 3 months ago
