Jessie James Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

This seems more integrated than the Hyland Vineyard, same vintage. Anyone have insight? — 5 days ago

Freakshow The Strongest Man on Earth Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich jammy flavor. Good finish. I really enjoyed this wine. Very good value for the price. — 2 months ago

Inkblot Lodi Petit Verdot 2020

Deep purple in color; black plums, blackberries, wood smoke, and violets (I think) on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, cardamom, wet slate and potpourri with a long finish. I love this wine. — 2 months ago

6th Sense Lodi Syrah

Oddly enough it does connect with you more each time you have some. Most enjoyable to have multiple small servings spread out over the day or a couple days. Not overbearing but still has good body. — 8 days ago

Petite Petit Lodi Petite Sirah Petit Verdot 2021

Dismissed by many as too jammy or too ripe, I’ve always thought this is the fun bottling. This ‘21 is no exception. Beneath the slightly over extracted ripe dark fruits lies quite complex aromas and flavors of figs, sweet spices, dark chocolate, smoke meat, and hint of balsamic. Rich palate but not overbearing. In a good vintage like ‘21, this can benefit for 5-8 years of bottle age.
My guilty pleasure.

Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard Syrah Grenache 2013

Exceptional blend. Mostly Syrah but the Grenache shines. Bold red with great depth. Lovely floral nose of violets and berries. Big winner tonight. — 2 months ago

Petite Petit Lodi Petite Sirah

I usually am not one to run out to the grocery store and buy wine. But tonight, the wife and I were feeling lazy and wanted a frozen pizza and wine. I’ve seen this bottle before, but this was the first time I bought it. Vanilla forward, light and bright. Really a good bottle for $20 at food lion!! I’d most definitely buy again. — 2 months ago
