One of Sofia’s favorite producers, if not her favorite.

Another property we visited & enjoyed over the years.

Happy 17th anniversary Sofia. ❤️

Weir Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

Bright Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral and complex spice, vineyard planted in 1991. On the palate concentrated flavors of blueberry, strawberry and cherry with citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, aged on French oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with ripe fruit, vanilla, floral and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age a bit! — 2 months ago

Always reminds me of white burgundies, crisp apples, great fruit IMO what white wine should be! — 4 months ago

Flax Vineyard Pinot Noir 2006

It’s still going strong and delicious. It’s a soft wine and not super Pinot forward now given its age. Not much of a finish but smooth as butter and a nice floral nose. With a big sip the finish is there and very pleasant. Love this but drink now. It’s precipitating serious sediment so suspect the color will fade soon. — a month ago

Limestone Ridge at Vista Verde Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2022

At first I found this medium bodied, slightly creamy, with prominent stone fruits, white peach and cumquat, with a prominent minerality and slight notes of cheesecake on the nose. Now it’s emerging much more dry with air, still a long, mineral driven palate, still medium bodied, but beautifully balanced and definitely a contract to many California white wines when it comes to complexity and nuance. — a month ago
