This was 1 of 41 wines we tasted blind to pick the next Members Premium Red at the Downs Club. Brief notes. A youthful Ruby with a purple tinge. Black ripe fruits and dark chocolate from the brilliant 2018 vintage. Charred oak. A typical Peter Lehmann Shiraz and most enjoyable. — 3 years ago

(Disg. 2014)…Some of the most captivating aromatics you’ll ever find from Champagne, stunningly complex with infinite layers, racy acids and chalky minerality. Such incredible intensity, verve and an explosively long finale. Nothing like Selosse. Untouchable! — a year ago
Disg. 2012. My favorite of the Lieux Dits. Absolutely singing on the pop and pour with its signature aromas and flavors and integrated oxidative character supported by riveting energy, exceptional detail and seemingly infinite depth. Always such a treat. — 5 years ago
A great Colorado red blend. Dark red color. Nose of boxwood and cherries, somewhat light. Medium bodied. Slightly jammy, taste of berries and slight bit of spice. Finish diminishes quickly. — 6 years ago
If you like this type of red this will be in your wheelhouse. — 4 years ago
Full body and not too sweet or tart. Notes of “dark grape skin”. Very nice. — 6 years ago
