I really enjoy a nice Carmenere having been introduced to this varietal on business trips to Chile. Typically a great complement to grilled meats, this somewhat young Carmenere (2020 vintage) did not disappoint! Ripe berries but with just a touch of a oeppery finish is a nice pairing with the flank steak, grilled Serranos, roasted sweet potatoes and chimichurri sauce we had for dinner. Not sure how much variety there is between vintages but the 2020 seems like a good one! — 4 months ago
This is a very tasty, albeit very young, Cabernet sauvignon blend from Chile. Created in collaboration with Robert Mondavi.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Showing cedar, blackberries, sweet cherries, chocolates, coffee, cola, vanilla, licorice, spices, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf and herbs.
Tannic finish after 90 minutes of airtime.
Needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Already showing great complexity, and would pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
Wine Advocate 98 points.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Malbec, 17% Carmenere and 6% Petit Verdot.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Deep ruby in color; bell pepper, black plums, and raspberries on the nose; medium; medium tannins; tastes like raspberries, green peppercorns, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Jason and I like it. — 4 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Made from Garganega grapes, pale lemon yellow color with aromas of tropical fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lemon citrus with nutty notes and lively acidity. Smooth finish ending with fruit and mineral notes. Nice value! — 22 days ago
