Light, acidic, crisp. Not super dry but also not sweet. Notes of grapefruit? — a month ago
Blend of two varietals from Italy (Friuli and Alto Adige) rarely grown in US. 37 cases made. Ruby red, very good clarity, medium pigment extraction. Red fruit aromas, flavors of pomegranate, tart cherry, black currant and a touch of plum, not quite cola. Lots of tannins, seed and skin, so decant at least one hour, preferably longer. Good body, lighter style in terms of alcohol, nice balance of fruit, tannins and acid. Props to the winemaking team at Illahe for staying experimental and testing new varieties’ adaptability to growing conditions in Oregon. — 10 months ago
Light, crisp and acidic. Short finish, not crazy complex but just really nice to drink. Probably would be great with cheese or fattier foods. — a month ago
This was a good FG4K meeting and the Pinot Gris is perfect — a month ago
Ruby with perfumed aromas of fruit, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of strawberry and cherry with floral notes, spice and hints of oak. Fine soft tannins, medium+ finish, good balance ending with fruit, spice and sweet earthy floral notes. — 6 months ago
