Really like this Beullton IPA — 7 years ago
This shit tastes like what I think of when I think about beer. I’m a sucker for beer in a wine bottle (750 mill). Fresh, fruity and not too hoppy but there’s a bite. Very aromatic. Surprisingly strong. I think this is a good everyday “come home from work and drank” beer. The bonus is the 9% ABV good beer to bring to the function for all to enjoy! Cheers 🍻 — 8 years ago
Awesome fresh and easy drinking IPA. I will buy more. — 9 years ago
Lots of floral notes, and a little bigger body than I'd expect for PG. Tasty! — 6 years ago
Amber color, (dry) hoppy: tropical fruits, resin/weed. No sourness, grapefruit, bitter on the finish. — 8 years ago
A domestic favorite. Be careful opening it. If you are not familiar with the method of pouring IMMEDIATELY following the cap removal be prepared to lose most of the beverage to the floor or counter. I would give this a 9.2, but I feel like the unstable fizz is a major damper for most people. — 9 years ago
1978 Chuck Hope left beverage job, moved to Paso Robles, became farmer, & top grape grower. Working with his father, Austin led family into winemaking in ‘95, creating his label in 2000. Grapes from 5 small blocks of Paso Robles AVAs, aged in 75% new French oak, 18 mos. Dark Ruby, aromas of sweet ripe black fruits & dried smoky spices. Flavors of ripe blackberry, sweet cacao, espresso & vanilla oak. Big wine, fine tannins that needed 45 minutes, long fruit finish. The 15% ABV, slight burn, but ok. Nice! — 6 years ago
Clear yellow gold color, clean grapefruit nose, refreshing hoppy grapefruit & bready taste, this could masquerade as an IPA, very good! — 9 years ago
