Stellar performance of the Esporâo private selection branco 2019 vintage (tasted July 2022). — 17 days ago
Lovely Portuguese red. Dark red in colour smooth finish. Really good. — 4 years ago
The 2019 vintage is terrific. Transcends all other vintages of recent years (2017-2021). If you still can get your hands on a 2019 bottle, simply buy and enjoy it. Portuguese Alentejano branco wine at its (affordable) top. Expresses the typicity of the region and grape varieties very well. Balanced, structured, citrus-fruity and pleasantly acid wine, asking for more. — 17 days ago
Arrogonez, Trincadeira, and Alicante bouschet blend. Another wild yeast wine.
Quite nice. — 3 years ago
Outstanding. Big and bold. Right up there with the best from Alentajo — 4 years ago
Top-pick value for money. Great blend (ideal combo for Chardonnay wine-lovers that also want that great specific Portuguese Alentejano touch). 2019 is very refined & balanced. — 17 days ago
An excellent Portuguese red blend. I’m getting ample black fruit, plum, black pepper and cherry jam. It’s nicely balanced, smooth, supple with hints of chocolate and vanilla mid palate through the finish. A perfect burger pairing wine. A fantastic value - this is one worth buying a case of. — 3 years ago
2016 opened Nov 2018. Lots of red fruit on the nose. Ripe cherries on the front, but with a pronounced mineral tannic structure the rest of the way down — which balances the initial fruitiness. Good for a rainy Sunday afternoon. — 4 years ago
Brandi Bratek
Blackberry and hint of licorice on the nose. Earthy notes but becomes more robust as it opens up. — 4 days ago
