Unique and singular, aromatic, rich mouthfeel and driven by bitter phenolics and earthy spices. Jasmine, tea leaves, subtle yellow fruit, grapey, sweaty socks. Steely minerality, oily texture — 7 months ago
Another great Blauburgunder from Austria - had it with Swiss bread and Rosetta salami, tomino in oil with truffle and vegetables crudités. — 8 months ago
Aroma of mild citrus. Initial citrus tartness with a touch of sweetness. On Viking ship. — 5 months ago

Starts with a proper stinkerl, then turns to the most aromatic bacon & roast (vegans, look away) only to slowly open up with lovely pure black cherry & cassis with a touch of liquorice. Lighter on the palate than the nose would suggest, but with great balance, purity and tension between the fruit and the minerality. Juicy and with light yet grippy tannins. 1h after opening this beauty sings.
