Heinrich
Leithaberg DAC Chardonnay

No notes but consistent w previous tasting. Vibrant w energy & forceful. Eye opening for at least one drinker as to how Chard can find expression in Austria.

Austrian Chard from slate & limestone. So so full, creamy, & crackling in energy; waxed yellow fruit, yellow popsicle, & butternut squash notes. 7 months aged on lees & it shows. Draw dropping. ‘Natural’ winemaking couple, which I feel is almost a distracting term for such a profound, delicious & even a bit classically styled wine. At about 20$ on sale give me breathing salts.
