Don’t know grapes on this as it was a sample. Likely Marsanne Roussanne. Nose is super floral. Some nice minerals, dried hay, granite, sea air. So unique. Great palate that is round and mineral and very very juicy and explosive with citrus fruits and melon. Luscious, succulent and delicious. Really pure and very long finish. Terrific energy. Lovely nose. Huge herbs and smoke. Meaty as well and some dark berry fruit. Great intensity and lots of rocks as well. Those galets coming on strong as this is from the south. Great palate with terrific concentrated grenache fruit and lovely rusticity and a generous supple mouthfeel. Nice herbals and stones on the finish and mid. Nice concentration and sap. Really great wine for the money. Chewy and toothsome. Good wild tannins and very pure. Honest wine. — a year ago
