I’d put this in the category of “supremely balanced”. It could age another year or so but the tannins are like the harmony to the melody of the gourmet grape jam notes. Normally saying a wine reeked of grape jam would be an insult but this is...like artisan grape jam. With a hit of booze in it. That you’d spread on brioche. Not the most complex cab but really lovely. Soothing. Lullaby wine. Perfect pop n pour with a friend to round off a busy Monday.

Super young fruit with a stiff spine of tannin and acid. A babe but the quality is obvious. Needs time. Should have a bright future though!

Youthful, boisterous nose, characterized with sweet, smokey wood and meadow flowers. Palate is tight and tannic, displaying the typical Mt Veeder signature. Ripe presentation of fleshy blackcurrants and blueberries. Finishes with density and white pepper. Leave this for another 3 years at least.

The nose is where this wine is....on the nose is wet earth, raw red meat and a slight hint of green bell pepper. The palate shows a very slight hint of aged oak and the green bell pepper. The palate provides a smooth mouth feel.
