B: strong acidity. Dry. Medium complexity with fruit notes. Very drinkable. Very enjoyable. Paired well with food at Cafe Juanita.
J: colorful. Strong bubble. Great story...better in a more open glass...pairs well with all foods. — 7 years ago
WOTN vs a blockbuster line-up at Cafe Baloud in West Palm Beach on 4/28. Loads of power and concentration but it's a standout for it's plush balance, sexy freshness and astounding vibrancy. This is a 27 year old wine but the fruit is still a centerpiece of this wine and it makes you take notice. Elegant tannic structure with warming fig, expresso and cassis flavors that fill your mouth with hedonistic pleasure. The second '90 Latour @Martin G Rivard pulled out that weekend. — 9 years ago

Blackberry cassis, dark cherries, herbaceous, olive, liqueur notes, sweet spice. The 85 is still there but fading. Tasted at Cafe Lavinal which is owned by Lynch Bages. The Chateau is right next store. — 10 years ago

Really quite a wine. Palate expanding in the best way, just don’t think I’ve had non Chablis white Burgundy of this quality before. Appearance is a deep dark lemon yellow. Unbelievable nose with a ton of depth and with a lot of white peach and some spicy notes. On the palate this is very mouth filling but still super precise. Loads of flavor waves over the tongue. Finish is crazy long and the acid level is obviously quite high but manages to express that while still staying very balanced. Perfect with a ”Zuni cafe” style roast chicken on a Sunday night. — 7 years ago

Stunningly beautiful and perfumed nose that is distinctive Dujac. That seductive stemmy spice. The palate, although perhaps a wee bit less generous is pure silk. Regal texture and ultra lux mouthfeel with Grand Cru weight and intensity along with excellent precision and focus.
Black and blue fruit and pixelated minerals intertwine with Dujac whole bunch character along with a touch of cocoa on the backpalate and fine grain tannins, lead to a persistent and lifted finish. This is packed with tension and substance to age effortlessly for decades. Malco always a special wine. Baby Tâche ❤️ — 5 years ago
A Burgundy Thanksgiving part 2. Zuni Cafe chicken/bread salad recipe for dinner!!
One hour decant. An impressive dark crimson color. On the nose: earth, black cherry, smoke, potting soil, meaty, minty. Taste: a velvety full body wine with raspberry, floral, spice, wet leaves, and a dry cedar cherry medium plus finish. An ending little tannic kick lets you know it wants more time in the bottle. — 6 years ago

WOTN. We enjoyed this as well as some others that I was unable to take a picture of at Cafe Boulud in Palm beach. The wine pairing was perfection. Cafe Boulud ALWAYS gets it done correctly! 😍🍷🍷😍. Thank you to our chairman for structuring this phenomenal dinner. — 10 years ago

2005 vintage. Blanchots. At Cafe Boulud, The Surrey Hotel, Upper East Side, New York. Pale golden hue. On opening a little closed. Peach and stoney, honey suckle and slightly floral. Still very youthful. On the palate, medium plus acidity and medium minus body. Light textured wine. Medium concentration and medium plus finish - slightly tart on the back end. Will come back to in 30 mins. After 30 mins, there's a honey sweeter note and the tartness on the finish has gone. The wine has also developed some more body. Still a tad short on the finish.
