@Delectable this is pinot gris. Beautiful copper-pink hue, orange peel, black tea, savory, med + acid and very complex ✨ — 2 years ago
The 2019 “Temperance Hill” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. Reductive at first, the nose had quite a bit of matchstick which never fully dissipated but did relax with air. But there was plenty more. In fact, this was quite the Bourgogne Blanc doppelgänger and gave me some Chassagne-Montrachet vibes. Super restrained with lemons. On the palate, the wine was dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish was long and the texture was grippy. Drink now and through 2029 with ease. — 2 months ago
