This just gets better as it opens but also liked it more in isolation. When you are tasting a lot of scotches this one starts to get lost. It’s gentle, subtle, smooth. You can’t I would argue flipping between 5 other strong profile drinks. — 5 years ago
Golden amber color. Briny, diluted iodine, smoky, red fruit, floral and herbal notes on the nose. Warm mouthfeel. Hints of sherry and stewed fruits on the palate. — 5 years ago
Not really a whisky drinker, but I can appreciate this Scotch. Very woodsy and dry. Cedar with orange bitters, and oaky vanilla bean. Clean fresh finish, with a long lasting Szechuan pepper tingle and wood chips towards the end. 14 yr single malt. — 7 months ago
