Juicy Chianti Classico with medium tannin, served with Italian roasted chicken at friends’ house in Ft. Myers, FL — 2 days ago
2nd coravin pour of the day. I had some doubts at first as I thought I had smelled what resembled a tiny TCA taint scent. It blew off after a while. The nose is a bit muted but I can make out cherry, clay, almond, tar and a tiny gamey thing lurking in the back. The palate is showing a great acid drive, blood orange and cherry notes all along, a great tannic acid wall in the rear, as one might be expecting. The finish is long, strong, drying, showing fruits and a noble bitterness touch. Good stuff ! — a month ago

2020 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Shy bouquet. Great melding of flavors already tho. Showing nicely for a prettier, speed bump-free Brunello effort. 3.11.26. — 16 days ago
