Intense but way softer and fruitier than expected, likely due to vintage conditions. Intensely mineral on the nose but vying for primacy with copious amount of deep orchard fruit (greengage?). Nice mineral and salinity on the nose. Lemon peel.

Super supple. Persimmon. A ceiling of lemons. Medium acidity. A subtle sort of gradual acidity. Enjoyable. Medium intensity. Medium to long finish. Stays with you for a bit.

Nice chew. Lasting impression. Not overly complex but really delivers on the lemon oil and white flowers. A bit of persimmon creaminess.

2022 vintage. A fave SLB plot/expression over the years and this is no exception. Silky as always from this producer. Light-medium body. The expected strawberry/raspberries rsvp early on with suggestions of rhubarb and dirt/earth on the finish. Showing really nicely now despite the youthful innocence. 03.26.25. — 2 months ago
