Oh wow - they really nailed it in ‘21.
This has to be the most Burgundian Syrah I have ever tasted.
Upon opening this is _so_ Côte Chalonnaise Pinot - dark spicy cherry with a bit of structure & beef. With time more blueberry comes to the forefront together with some leather, a touch of rosemary, a whiff of freshly cracked black pepper. It remains hung somewhere between a Pinot and Côte Rotie. Very, very fresh & enticing.
Very fresh and Pinot-like on the palate as well. Juicy acidity, polished tannins. More Baden Pinot than Burgundy… but very precise, light, aetheric.
Blind I would have never said this is a Syrah!

Very dark ruby robe, nose of blackcurrant, cherries and flowers. Very elegant and balanced, mostly merlot done in a classic way. Was told this is done with majority new wood barrels. Wood tannins do not show, so not an issue. Medium bodied, fresh, elegant, great acidity, top notch stuff and highly recommended. — 3 years ago

There’s is so much going on on the nose, spice, cloves, leather, cedar, sweet fruit... A lot more tame on the palate, with the more ‘conventional’ flavors of black fruit. All in all, very well done. — 5 years ago

Fruit-forward, blueberry-flavored Shiraz, perfect with mushroom pizza. A lovely fresh wine for when you are not looking for elegance, but just want a flavorful wine to go with comfort food. The finish is overwhelmingly acidic, but this wine still gets the job done as a fruity wine. — 3 years ago

Classic cru Beaujolais. Nice strawberry, red fruit, and wet stones. A bit funky—but not too much. Medium body. Juicy acidity, freshness. Fine tannins. Easy to drink. Opens up quickly. But, it has depth and sophistication. A great wine. Gamay done well. — 5 years ago
