Vorberg Riserva Terlano Pinot Bianco 2020

If it’s on the list and the price is right an automatic buy. Wonderful combo of stone fruit and citrus connected by zippy acidity. A wine that always does a Slow Foxtrot in my mouth. Will certainly gain complexity with time. — 8 months ago

Always been one of my favourites from Alto Adige. It used to cost close to nothing😭😭😁

Domaine Mont Chavy Morgon Gamay

More of that catnip. A nuanced and developed version of Gamay that just dances on the palate. Fruit doing a tango with tannin, which showed up a bit late to the party because it was doing a foxtrot with the acidity in the hallway. Brilliant juice. — 4 years ago

Foxtrot Vineyard Okanagan Valley Pinot Noir 2014

Often featured here, never disappoints. Smooth and drinking very well now. Nice aging potential I believe, but hard to resist now. A somewhat lighter and subtle answer to nearly every other new world pinot noir. If it was a Burg. pinot, it would be a Chambolle-Musigny. — 5 years ago

Foxly Reserve Pinot Noir 2016

A nice one here... On the palate, this is cranberry, cedar, and a whole lot of earthiness... A nice acidity and soft tannin... — 3 years ago

This a very sold sparkler that comes in way below my financial pain-threshold. Birthday Boy @Shawn R had one going today. Kudos to you dad, husband 🎈
Back to the wine... crisp and energetic, with a limestone/chalky overtone. This oozes quality, and presents just like champagne. Why spend Whiskey Tango Foxtrot type loot when you get this at a fraction of the price of the real thang?

Foxly Pinot Noir 2018

They tagged the 2016 vintage with "Reserve" on the label, but this 2018 was released sooner without the "Reserve"... It's really hard to predict how a wine will evolve, of course, but this 2018 seems primed to repeat the success of that 2016... The cherry nose gives way to a cranberry palate... Quite good all around... While I had a wonderful experience at the winery this summer trying a variety of expressions, careful buying this one in town... There seems to be wild variation in pricing... And that "Reserve" tag on the 2016? Don't get me started... — 3 years ago

Paired it with Latchi Indian food from Penticton while the fires are raging in Christie Mountain. Wines like this make you forget the world around you. What a crazy year you’ve been 2020! — 4 years ago

Artisan Series Reserve Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Cherry, plum, raspberry flavours highlight this delicious Pinot. Got some oak and mushroom as well. Well balanced, light tannins, easy drinking wine. We had it with BBQ salmon, but great on its own as well. I don't have much to compare it against from the Willamette, but it matched up nicely against the Foxtrot Pinot we had that evening. — 6 years ago
