I had a bottle of this limited edition in 2021, and at the time it was one of the best bourbons I'd ever enjoyed. Got my hands on a bottle of 2025 and it now costs considerably more. Really great juice. Although 109 proof, this does not throw too much heat. It tastes very much like a wheater (which it is not), yet the rye content is also prominent from the nose through the sip. Cherry, leather, cornbread, and cigar box. Best way I can describe it is that EH Taylor and Pappy 15 had a baby. It's very good.

Dark cherry and spice nose. More dark cherry on the palate with cola, plum, cooked strawberry, cinnamon, clove, oak, with a hint of cocoa. Medium plus alcohol, medium minus tannins, and high alcohol. — 4 years ago
A nice dark cherry red color with a wide brim. The nose opens up with some nice spice and green earth. Plenty of funk and fun on display here. Dense moss and forest woodland screams before the bright red fruits show up to play. The floral aromatics really set this one off.
45/30/25 of Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, this is a Central Coast take on Chateauneuf du Pape and baby, it works. It’s a gentle onslaught of goodness. Mounds and mounds of bright, fresh fruits come in waves. Wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry. A hint of dark chocolate with menthol and more greenery. It seems like people don’t know how good these are and that’s a crying shame. Beautiful wine and so hard to beat. — 5 years ago
Very fruity at the beginning but opens up and becomes dryer with a tannin finish — 5 months ago
My favorite Macon Chard. This wine drinks so much higher than its cost. Green apple, lemon curd, used oak, acidic, full bodied. Excellent with cheese, cream sauce. Love to pair it with an Alfredo Chicken pizza. — 7 months ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, raspberries, and dried leaves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, light body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of strawberries, hibiscus, dried herbs, and cola with a long finish. This wine is balanced, complex, and intense. The alcohol is well integrated. Overall, I rate this wine as outstanding. — 2 months ago
