Dec 23rd, 2019Black cherries on the nose. Fruity, but not a bomb. Reddish brown, medium alcohol, slight acidity. Thin flavor profile with some cherries, smoky with thin tannins. Needs more time in the bottle to gain some character.

Apr 22nd, 2017Wow ! Wow! Wow! This Zinfandel has serious substance! (Or as my friend Neal@would say,, some@eruous tits on it!) It bold and smooth at the same time with that wonderful lingering flavor of a Zinfandel. Oaky, smooth,cassis, raspberry subtle black currant all perfectly balanced! Definitely a sin I will be buying again. Sublime!!!!!

On the nose, like the wine was aged next to the cigar room. Raisins and light tobacco. Called it chocolate at first, I always say chocolate with rich reds. Touch of smoke too. Oh and some caramel/butterscotch as well!
This puppy is smooth drinking. Accidently just had 4 glasses. Raisins, blackberries, wish I gave this one enough time to open up!

This has very up front black cherry and plum fruit riding on a base of vanilla, spice, and oak, with dry earth minerality. Moderate tannins and acidity. It works very well with strongly flavored foods. I had it with spicy black beans.

Just a little bitey on the finish, otherwise this is a very nice, spicy Zin. I can't place the dominant aroma but it is interesting.
