Not as full-bodied as other Touriga blends - a good AP red. — a year ago
13.7% ABV Dark in color, still has foral aromatics, really good! — 5 months ago
More advanced than other 97’s I’ve had. Still grit with flowers. Always get a touch of Cognac from the mid 90’s BV Tapestry’s. Less on the 97. Beautiful, ripe, foral fruits with spice, barrel toast with evolution & integration. Incredible structure, balance. Violets for days. Still has 5-8 years.
This bottle on auction are more advanced than my bottles or others bought at auction. This is just around it’s precipice where other bottles I’ve had required more time. Another 8 years. This is more within 3 years. I would add that a 1997 94 points rating greatly over shadows a young(ish) vintage of the same. Just gets better and better with each sip.
1997 the vintage of our modern times. This wine was about $25 on release, give or take. Today, it drinks like a $100 plus bottle of Napa Cabernet. — a year ago
Dense black plum and cherry fruit aromas that took time to appear. Initially, the nose was dominated by the scent of rubber tires. Same dark fruit flavors but they seemed a bit muted and flat. Juicy acidity comes through on the finish. Might be a bit past its prime. — 3 years ago
Citrus and salt. Cuts through. Nice! — 6 months ago
Colorful and vibrant in the nose. Superb consistency. Fruity and foral taste. Gentle finish. — 8 months ago
Passion fruit and lemon. Mildly acidic with a hint of oak. — 2 years ago
Honestly, I was thinking a red blend from Portugal?! Very skeptic but this blend is actually quite nice. Hints of blue and boysenberry on the nose but on the palate it’s a complex and richer, deeper red taste like blackberries and a bit of rhubarb; slightly acidic. Super cheap but doesn’t taste cheap. — 4 years ago

Simple, clean, lemon but not too tart, great value for the price point. — a month ago
