First nose is tight and reserved. With time, aeration and temperature, it opens up with tropical fruits: pineapple. Some herbs. So concentrated on the palate. The residual sugar (45 g/l) nicely integrates with racy acidity of Riesling. Harvested at 86° Oechsle it is then fermented with ambient yeasts to low 9% Alc. Love the style of this Kabinett: elegance and finesse. Accentuated finish. Solar vintage, indeed. Huge potential ahead.
Anna Reimann together with her husband in 2016 acquired an existing winery and 5ha of vineyards. A year later they bought Johann Peter Reinert Estate and expanded to northern Saar vineyards. This is definitely a rising star and the address to watch.

100% Sauvignon. Star bright straw gold. Inviting nose of green apples and honeysuckle. Firm acidity leads the medium palate which yields green apple, citrus rind, and a touch of birch. Moderately lingering, slightly stony finish. Sauvignon done Bordeaux style with body and brightness that makes a perfect pair for seafood, roasted poultry, or Asian cuisine. ruby red , bright clean color. blackcurrent, strawberry, capcicum nose, secindary arima with mint n licorice. alcohol meadium to high. medium to full body. smooth tannin. 7.5/10 acidity. nice light bitter
